The Time-Busters have been your address for exciting puzzles in action-packed escape rooms in Vienna since 2014. A lot has happened since then: In addition to our locations in Vienna’s second district, we have had a third branch in the Museumsquartier Wien since 2022. In cooperation with Volkshilfe and the artist Deborah Sengl, we are taking a stand against child poverty with “Escape Poverty”. Take a look!

We are a young, dynamic team of creative minds with the aim of offering you and your friends an unforgettable escape room experience in the heart of Vienna. Since the company was founded, our team has grown to 17 employees. We will help you guide your team through our exit rooms and solve all the puzzles. Our team is always there for you and your questions!
Our
Concept
Handcrafted exit rooms and crime games for adults, teenagers and the whole family in Vienna.
We set new escape room standards! Nowhere else in Vienna will you find so many puzzles on just a few square meters as at Time-Busters. With great attention to detail, we build up to twelve puzzles per mission, each developed by us and built by hand. We use up to 90% recycled materials for the construction of our rooms, thus protecting the environment and natural resources. In our escape rooms, you don’t need violence, stamina or physical strength: logical, networked thinking and teamwork are the only secrets to success!
Go on your first mission
2014
Founding of Time-Busters: The tinkerer and carpenter Michael Ginner turns his enthusiasm for puzzle games into a profession and founds Time-Busters. The first branch opens in Mosergasse on Vienna's Alsergrund with the Tresor, Temple and Control Room missions.
2015
We are growing! At the turn of the year 2016, we are opening a second branch in Rembrandtstraße in Vienna's second district.
2016
First outdoor game: We develop an app for the first outdoor escape game. Visitors solve puzzles together on their way through Vienna's historic city center.
2017
Relocation to the new branch: We leave Vienna's Alsergrund and move our Exit Rooms Control Room, Vault and Temple to Untere Augartenstraße.
2019
Cooperation with the Museumsquartier: The Time-Busters cooperate for the first time with the MQ Vienna and the refugee aid organization. The "Escape" project created jobs for refugees and supported the organization with donations.
2022
MQ Vienna: Third branch location: The Time-Busters get a permanent place in Vienna's Museumsquartier! The "Escape Poverty" project, an escape room against child poverty in Austria, was created here together with Volkshilfe.
